Welcome to my latest publication of Domestic Chaos Theory…
Crimes Against Fashion (This is Why You Don’t Defund the Fashion Police). While it isn’t technically a medical affliction, I think it is fair to say that I have poor fashion sense. Like, I actually wear those free t-shirts they give out at the Padres game. In public. Public! Sweet Jesus. It got so bad that our Homeowners Association felt they had to get involved. So now I’m in kind of a clothing conservatorship. It isn’t as bad as it sounds. My wife dresses me. It’s like having your own butler.
Quantum Computing for Dummies. I’m always asking AI to explain things. Here’s how it explained quantum computing to me, for instance. Imagine you’re trying to find your way through a giant maze. A regular computer would try each path one by one until it finds the right one. But a quantum computer can try many paths at the same time. This makes it much faster at solving certain complex problems, like cracking codes, searching huge databases, or figuring out why your wife keeps buying decorative pillows even though your house is already at 150% of its decorative pillow capacity. Thank you for hanging in there on that long setup for this decorative pillow joke.
The Worst Fetish of Them All. In addition to decorative pillows, my wife also has a serious candle fetish. When we have company, we light so many candles that I have to schedule a pee break before I finish. We have candles on the dining room table. On the floor. Even hanging from the chandelier. You’d think we were preparing for a séance. Or a ritual sacrifice. On a more positive note, our home is now visible from space.
